The total length of border line is 5695 km, coastline is 27 kilometers, river line is 2800 kilometers and inland line is 195 km

GDP has reached at 2.52 Trillions and is in the forefront of the world. France is the second largest exporter of agricultural products in the world. Industry in the national economy gradually decreases. The tertiary industry increased year by year, in which the volume of the business of telecommunications, information, tourism services and the transport sector increased considerably, workers of service industry accounted for about 70 percent of the total workforce.
France is a famous tourist country in the world. Paris, the Mediterranean, the scenic of Atlantic coast and the Alps are tourist resort, besides there are also historic city, castle group on the bank of the Loire River, the fishing village of Brittany and Normandy, Corsica and so on. A number of well-known museums collect valuable cultural heritage of the world.
France is also a world trade power, and its foreign trade has two characteristics: on the one hand, imports are more than exports, which cause the trade deficit, imports are mainly raw materials, energy and industry, exports mainly machinery, automobiles, chemical products, iron and steel, agricultural products, food, clothing, cosmetics and arms, etc.; on the other hand, non-products technology export growth is relatively fast, the position of technology exports become more and more prominent in the export trade.
